Hogan Leadership Assessment

The Hogan assessments are research-based tools that reveal how you come across to others, what might derail you under pressure, and what motivates you underneath. They are widely used in leadership development because they surface patterns that are often invisible to us but obvious to those around us.

I offer Hogan assessments as a tool for self-awareness – not just the reports, but a conversation to interpret what they mean and figure out what to do with the information.

The Assessments

I use the PROSCI ADKAR model, which breaks down what people need to successfully change:

HPI - Your Reputation

The Hogan Personality Inventory measures how you typically come across when things are going well. Your everyday style – how you handle stress, approach problems, relate to others.

HDS - Your Derailers

The Hogan Development Survey reveals patterns that can emerge under pressure, stress, or complacency. These are often strengths overused – behaviors that can get in your way without you realizing it.

MVPI - Your Values

The Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory uncovers what drives you – what kind of environment you thrive in, what matters to you, what culture you naturally create around you.

Choose Your Level of Depth

Different report options are available depending on how deep you want to go. You can start with one assessment or combine several for a more complete picture. We can discuss what makes sense for your situation and goals.

Each assessment is followed by a coaching conversation to make sense of the results together – what the patterns mean, how they show up in your work, and what you might want to do with the insights.
