The Basecampcoach

About Me

Hello. I am glad you are here.

I spent 20 years working in the FMCG sector, mostly at Unilever. I managed teams, oversaw budgets, and led marketing initiatives across local, regional, and global roles. That experience taught me what it takes to lead through complexity, navigate organizational change, and help people do their best work.

Now I work as a coach. I help individuals think through leadership challenges, and coaching the next generation of leaders through change and new beginnings. I help teams work more efficiently and improve continuously. I help organizations work through change and transformation. I bring both business understanding and coaching training to this work.

How I Work

I believe that meaningful change happens one person at a time. Even large organizational transformations ultimately depend on individuals’ understanding what is changing and why, and finding their own way forward.

My role is to create space for honest conversation. To ask questions that help you see your situation more clearly. To share observations when they might be useful. And to support you in figuring out what to do next.

I have trained in several approaches:

Co-Active Coaching

Focuses on the whole person, not just the problem at hand

Agile Principles

Working efficiently, continuous learning, continuous improvement

PROSCI/ADKAR

A structured way to support people through change

Hogan Assessments

Research-based tools for understanding personality and leadership style

Why The Base Camp Coach?

In climbing, base camps are where you rest and prepare before continuing upward. In agile coaching, we track progress through stages called base camps.

Both meanings resonate with me. This is meant to be a space where you can pause, think clearly, and prepare for what comes next – whatever that new beginning looks like for you.
